Uploading Songs

Every member has their own music player (holds 100 songs) located on the left of their page, but it doesn't show up until you add something to it. The easiest way to add a song, is just click Add to My Playlist in any of our network players. When a song you like is playing (and you are signed in), click the arrow on top right of the player, to make this feature available. You can also add songs from the music page, with the Add to My Profile button next to the song.

Artists can upload songs in the MP3 format (128 bit is best for Internet), or import them by URL (if they are stored somewhere else on the Internet). Just look for the Add Music button on the left of your page. If you already have content and your player is showing, it is below the player.

Artists who upload songs should check the box that allows members to add songs to their playlists. Note - this doesn't allow them to download, only to play the songs.

I recommend this, because some fans build custom playlists, and post them on their Internet sites, in our embeddable players - which is good for exposure. All the players link back to this site, so someone who hears your song and likes it, can find you. 

When you have your player set up the way you want (use the Edit Playlist button), you can click the arrow on the right side of the player to access the share feature. This gives you the HTML code and you can post it anywhere.  Now you can have your (up to 100) songs, just about anywhere on the Internet.  

Don't forget to give everyone's songs an honest rating. The 20 highest rated songs are automatically forwarded to Highest Rated players embedded on many websites, and the Indie Gospel Podcast.

Please don't upload songs from artists, who are not members here (unless you are their authorized representative). Besides being illegal, they will propagate through the site, "mess up" our Top 20 list, and our Mission.
