For all you Bible readers, in the book of Acts, the second chapter begins with a description of the first arrival of the Holy Spirit, on the day of Pentecost, rushing in from heaven like the sound of a mighty wind, to show the people that Jesus came to save both Jews and Gentiles and God wants followers from every race and nation to be one body in Christ. Then in Revelations, chapters 8 and 9 refer to the seven angels sounding their trumpets, ushering in Judgment Day. What happens between these two events, in the history of time? Well, it’s up to each of us and how we relate to God. Our mission statement is to raise awareness through song, that nothing on this earth is more important than maintaining a personal relationship with God. Let us thank God for giving the gift of allowing all of us an opportunity to be his chosen ones. Now, repeat after me…. GREAT WIND… SOUNDS OF TRUMPETS!

About Me:

Now, to tell you about who we are, that is something you could best understand by attending a live performance; not for form or fashion, but strictly a spiritual experience. Carol Nesbitt, the lead singer, is the brainchild of all songs performed by ‘Great Wind Sounds of Trumpets.’ I, Victor Starkes, came aboard in 2001, as keyboardist. We can truly say it was the Holy Spirit guiding us, and allowing God to put his finger on our current project.
